Dream Street provides camping programs for children and young adults with chronic and life threatening illnesses.
ABOUT US
OUR MISSION
For almost 30 years, Dream Street has been providing nationwide camping programs for children and young adults with cancer, chronic and life threatening illnesses. Funded by the Dream Street Foundation, children are given the opportunity to enjoy activities they would normally be restricted from due to their illness, while Dream Street supports their medical needs.
For those children that require medicine daily or several times a day, the usual sleep-away camp is not sufficiently sophisticated to handle their medical needs. At Dream Street, volunteer counselors as well as a full-time medical staff are on hand to spend endless hours with any child that needs special help and love.
Over 800 children and young adults attend Dream Street programs each summer. Dream Street operates and funds programs in Arizona, Arkansas, California, New Jersey and Mississippi.
All Dream Street programs are FREE OF CHARGE to the campers that attend. There are no paid salaries within the Dream Street Foundation.
