VOLUNTEER
Counselors
Who Volunteers?
We accept volunteers from all walks of life and from all over the United States. Students, professionals, husbands and wives, grandma’s and grandpa’s ages 19 years and older, can apply. Volunteer counselors participate with the children in all activities and ensure the best possible experience for all.
What will I do all day?
You will be with your campers in a variety of different activities
- You will need to be physically and mentally capable to care for campers
- You live in cabins with your campers
- You will have a fabulous time
Junior Counselors under the age of 18 are selected on a case by case basis.
Medical
Dream Street California has six full time doctors, approximately 16-18 nurses and a complete psycho social team. We provide extensive medical support to the kids.
STAFF NURSES
For nurses who wish to apply, you will need the following:
- Current RN License
- Current CPR
- Pediatric experience preferred
- Camp nurses must be RN’s with at least 1 year of experience

To be considered for participation in this program please fill out the camp application. It is important that you answer all questions completely so we can make your week at Dream Street an unforgettable experience.
A Dream Street representative will review your application and contact you within 30 days.
WAYS FOR KIDS TO HELP KIDS
Help us send more kids to camp! Find a community fundraising event that you can participate in or even plan your own event. Bake sales, lemonade stands, art or dance shows, car washes, can recycling and marathons are all fun ways to get involved and help support Dream Street.
